you know, I really love my Z......I try to take care of her, keep her in good condition, etc. How come she always has to break something else as soon as I fix/replace/upgrade something on her??? Why can't she just be happy and say thank you instead of throwing a hissy fit? Sigh.... So, I washed her last night, left on my marker lights for 30-45 mins. Got in to start and she started fine, BUT the far left light under teh temp gauge(re Battery light I think) and the red light with a pic of lights on it in the lower right light cluster stayed on :( They were "clicking" really fast almost going out and then comming back on. If I revved the motor the "light" light went away and the Batt. light got really dim, but was still there faintly. Sigh.... I took it to Autozone and it didn't do it's light thing, but the tester showed no output from my alternator. How can this be, I just replaced the damn thing last summer, less than a year ago! Grrrrrr. What else can I check to get a "second opinion" if you will? Damn this sux, changing the alt was not much fun and I will have to do it again if it truly is out. Anyone else feel like it is tempting fate to do somehting nice for your Z? Does it act up like this if you do? lol Mike
